Morocco is the 40ᵉ “best country” in the world, according to the 2020 ranking of the best countries of the American group BAV.
The Kingdom has considerably improved its rank in the ranking. It is now ranked 42ᵉ out of 80 countries in 2019, compared to 47ᵉ out of 80 countries in 2018.
Morocco is known for its cuisine, which is appreciated and imitated all over the world, especially its couscous, which is one of the most popular meals in the country, the ranking said.
In addition to culinary specialties, the ranking also took into account the country’s mountainous regions, sunny coastline, and desert areas. The country also has cities and buildings rich in history, the media reported.
The annual report is the result of a collaboration between the BAV Group Consultant and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
