A city in Morocco was ranked second among the cleanest cities in the world, according to a ranking by the MBC Times newspaper.
It is the city of Ifrane, located in the Meknes region of Morocco and nicknamed “Little Switzerland”, known for its lakes, rivers and huge national park, and at the same time free of pollution and industry.
The survey took into consideration several factors such as water availability, waste disposal, sewage system, air pollution, traffic congestion, but also the environmental program and strategy adopted to preserve the environment for economic growth and job creation.
